Anyone can be a photographer - you don't have to have a fancy camera or tons of experience with taking photos. If you see something worth capturing - do it! Then send it in for consideration in the 2024 NBA Scenes of Nebraska Calendar. We are currently accepting photo submissions until March 1, 2023. The beauty of our Scenes of Nebraska Calendar is that the photos come from our bankers and their families. We'd like to showcase all that Nebraska has to offer - from rolling hills and monuments to country areas and cityscapes. Have a favorite spot in town? Or perhaps you've made a scenic trip to a state park? Both cities/towns and the surrounding countryside make Nebraska what it is. What does living in Nebraska mean to you? Nebraska banks go above and beyond to provide financial education to their communities. The NBA Leaders in Financial Education (LiFE) Awards honor our banks and bankers who lead efforts to promote financial literacy and education across the state.
Winning banks will be recognized during the Recognition Awards Breakfast on May 5 during the NBA Annual Convention in La Vista. The deadline to submit your awards application is Feb. 28. The 2023 awards will cover financial education programs initiated or ongoing during the 2022 calendar year. There are four categories: LiFE Honors List Presented to banks that meet at least seven of the criteria listed on our website Bank Innovation Award Presented to a bank that implemented an innovative way to improve financial literacy Presentation Award Presented to the top bank from each deposit size category for the total number of Get Smart About Credit, Teach Children to Save, and general presentations given during 2022 Career Award Presented to a banker who has been instrumental in leading the bank's financial literacy efforts for at least five years For more information, contact Laurie Johnson at the NBA at [email protected] or 402-474-1555. |
