CharterWest Bank | Papillion, provided a donation match fund up to $6,000 for the Child Saving Institute (CSI) during Giving Tuesday. CSI seeks to champion children and families by providing the mental, emotional and physical spaces they need to feel empowered and thrive. (pictured) First National Bank of Omaha | Omaha, has awarded $1,738,000 in Impact Grants to 90 organizations across Nebraska, Iowa, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, South Dakota, Wyoming and Texas. Nebraska organizations made up around half of the list and received over $1 million in grants. MNB Bank | McCook, raised $1,510 through a bake sale and donated the proceeds to the Adopt-A-Chaplain program, which sends packages overseas to U.S. troops. She had previously worked at Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. for 48 years, ending her career as a project manager.

The bank donated $200,000 toward the project early last year. First Northeast Bank of Nebraska and WCB | Tekamah, each donated $10,000 towards a capital campaign for inclusive playground equipment at Tekamah-Herman Elementary School. The new playground aims to provide equipment that accommodates children of varying physical, sensory and cognitive abilities. Heartland Bank | Geneva, has entered into an agreement to purchase the State Bank of Odell. The purchase, subject to regulatory approval, is expected to be finalized in the first quarter of 2024. The Odell and Diller locations will transition to Heartland Bank. Midwest Bank | York, celebrated their 20th anniversary of service to the York community this week.
