Cornerstone Bank | Geneva, is sponsoring the new pre- and post-operative suite surgery department addition at the Fillmore County Hospital. The bank donated $200,000 toward the project early last year.

First Northeast Bank of Nebraska and WCB | Tekamah, each donated $10,000 towards a capital campaign for inclusive playground equipment at Tekamah-Herman Elementary School. The new playground aims to provide equipment that accommodates children of varying physical, sensory and cognitive abilities.

Heartland Bank | Geneva, has entered into an agreement to purchase the State Bank of Odell. The purchase, subject to regulatory approval, is expected to be finalized in the first quarter of 2024. The Odell and Diller locations will transition to Heartland Bank.

Midwest Bank | York, celebrated their 20th anniversary of service to the York community this week. (pictured)

Nebraska State Bank & Trust Co. | Broken Bow, opened an in-school savings bank at Anselmo-Merna Public Schools. The bank, school and Nebraska Council on Economic Education celebrated with a school assembly on Nov. 14.
