What influenced your decision to do a banking internship?
All of the financial classes that relate to the lending side of agriculture have really clicked with me for some reason, and it seems like a great career field to get in to. What has been the most beneficial part of your internship? The connections that I have gotten to make this summer will be useful for any career path that I will choose in the future. What areas of banking did you focus on in your internship? Is this something you want to continue doing in the future? I got to see nearly every aspect of the bank through the summer, primarily focusing on the lending side. I could see myself doing this in the future. How has this internship grown your interest in the banking career path? It answered a lot of questions that I had about the banking industry in general and created new questions that were answered by bank employees and that allowed for me to keep interest in this career path. What is the most important thing you have learned through your internship? I think that the idea that customer service needs to be at the top of the priority list because if your customer service is bad, you may not have a job for a very long time. Do you think this internship will help you in your future? If so, how? Based on the connections that I have made this summer, I think that will be the thing that will help me out the most in my future. What would you say to someone who is considering a banking internship? Take advantage of getting to see all the different parts of the bank; it will help you better understand how all the parts can work together to make the bank function properly. Comments are closed.
