Kaki Ley, State Nebraska Bank & Trust | Wayne, celebrated her 20th anniversary with the bank. She is the bank's century club coordinator.
Gail Milander, Security Bank | Laurel, celebrated her 25th anniversary with the bank. She is an administrative loan assistant.
Sue Rye, Cornhusker Bank | Lincoln, celebrated 30 years of service with the bank. She works in the bank's compliance department.

ACCESSbank | Omaha, hosted a putt-putt golf tournament fundraiser last month. The tournament raised $1,200 for Angels Among Us, an organization that provides financial support to families with children battling cancer in Nebraska. (pictured)
Bruning Bank | Grand Island, opened a new branch at 3032 W. Stolley Park Road, Suite B in Grand Island. The bank held a "Business After Hours" event on Sept. 15 and a ribbon cutting with the Grand Island Chamber of Commerce.
Cornerstone Bank | Sutton, hosted a grand opening ceremony on Sept. 15 to celebrate the reopening of the branch at 101 W. Elm Street in Sutton following repairs to damage caused by a tornado.
Elkhorn Valley Bank & Trust | Wayne, donated $100,000 to the Athletic & Recreation Complex Renovation & Addition Project at Wayne State College.
FirsTier Bank | Holdrege, hosted an open house on Sept. 15 to celebrate the bank's 60th anniversary of service to the community.
NebraskaLand Bank | North Platte, sponsored a prime rib dinner during the Gift of Hope Cancer Foundation fundraiser on Sept. 19 to help support cancer patients.
Security Bank | Hartington, opened an in-school savings bank at Holy Trinity Elementary School in Hartington last week. (pictured)

Rose Kuester, Citizens State Bank | Leigh, retired recently after over 25 years with the bank. She was a customer service representative. The bank held an open house on Sept. 14 to celebrate.
Dave Langner, York State Bank | York, retired on Sept. 1 after 33 years with the bank. He ended his career as a registered investment advisor. (pictured)

Richard "Rick" Nelson (age 94) | Republican City, passed away on July 28. He had previously worked at Burt County State Bank, now Washington County Bank, and later at First National Northeast Bank until his retirement at age 83.
Andrew Svendgard, Jr. (age 86) | Fremont, passed away on Sept. 8. He was hired as a teller in 1966 at Arlington State Bank, which later became Two Rivers Bank and is now RVR Bank, and worked his way up to president in 1974. He retired from active operations in Dec. of 1997 and from the bank’s board of directors in 2006. (pictured)
