Deaths

Doyle "Rob" Walker (age 71) | Tecumseh, passed away on Feb. 22. He was the vice president and manager of Western National Bank in Peru, NE, for 12 years, following a 25-year career at a bank in Iowa. (pictured)

Eugene "Gene" Zaloudek (age 93) | Omaha, passed away on Feb. 18. Over a 45-year career, he served in various roles at Southwest Bank. He later served as president/CEO of Omaha State Bank (now Core Bank) and River City National Bank (now U.S. Bank) in Omaha. He also served on the Bank Management Committee for the NBA and four years in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. (pictured)
