Aaron Otten, Elkhorn Valley Bank & Trust | Norfolk, was chosen as a recipient of the Rotary Golden Wheel Award. The award, new for Rotary District 5650, recognized outstanding non-Rotarians who best exemplify "service above self" and make significant contributions to their communities.

Banks in the News

Cornerstone Bank | York, hosted a public Fraud Prevention Seminar on March 29. Keynote speakers were Kathy Jensen, a BSA/AML/OFAC officer at the bank, and Sergeant Alex Hildebrand, criminal investigator with the York County Sheriff's Department.

First National Bank of Omaha | Scottsbluff, is helping sponsor the 38th Visionaries Student Art Show at the West Nebraska Arts Center. The show will be open from April 1-30; additional supporters include the Nebraska Arts Council, the Nebraska Cultural Endowment and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Security First Bank | Lincoln, and other local businesses helped sponsor the Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln's Community Builders Breakfast on March 22.
