Cornerstone Bank | York, sponsored the Eight-Man Hall of Fame, celebrating the history, continued growth, and achievement of Nebraska's eight-man football.
Elkhorn Valley Bank & Trust | Pierce, Norfolk, Wayne and Yankton, held customer appreciation celebrations in each community throughout the past week. The events included refreshments and $80 raffles.

Flatwater Bank | Gothenburg, and Homestead Bank | Cozad, and other local businesses were sponsors for the Platte Valley Tailwinds hot air balloon event on June 16-18 at the Cozad Municipal Airport. The three-day event included live music, an outdoor cookout, a car show cruise night, an airplane fly-in, a champagne brunch and a balloon flight.

Homestead Bank | Ainsworth, Sandhills State Bank | Bassett, and Tri-County Bank | Bassett, along with other local businesses, sponsored the Sandhills Ranch Expo in Bassett on June 21 and 22. The two-day event included a craft show, Roughstock Challenge, live music, and a beer garden.
Nebraska Bank | Hemingford, partnered with the Hemingford Chamber of Commerce and sold concessions at the annual Bands on the Butte. The concert featured Jason Mayer at the community-wide event.

Lyn Kopf, American Exchange Bank | Elmwood, retired recently. The bank hosted a reception on June 10 in honor of her 50 years of service to the bank and community.
Marlene Meyer (age 91) | Scribner, passed away on June 8. She worked for the Scribner Bank for 21 years and was awarded the Scribner Chamber of Commerce Employee of the Year in 1997. (pictured)
