Horizon Bank | Superior, provided free books for 26 youth who participated in Superior Public Library's summer reading program.
Midwest Bank | York, and other local businesses sponsored a concert by Nashville duo Alex Smith and Kaylor Cox on July 22 at the York Country Club.
Nebraska Bank | Alliance, sponsored a Free Swim on July 22 during Alliance's Heritage Days celebration.
RVR Bank | Arlington, was the presenting sponsor for the "Hats Off to Literacy" fundraiser for the Fremont Area United Way on July 25.
Security First Bank and Western Nebraska Bank | Thedford, and other local businesses sponsored the Thedford Art Guild's Open Show for area artists. The show is the fundraiser for the Thedford Art Gallery.
Waypoint Bank | Cozad, hosted Maker Monday at the bank every Monday throughout July. Area kids apply to sell handmade items during the event and sign a contract with the bank outlining the expectations. Participants also calculate their net income for a chance to win a prize. The bank holds a ribbon cutting for each business and provides the first dollar. (pictured)
