Horizon Bank | Superior, donated $20,000 to the City of Superior for the Evergreen Cemetery Memorial Revitalization project.

Sandhills State Bank | all branches, hosted a food drive for non-perishable food items through Dec. 18. The donated food items were distributed to local food pantries.

Town & Country Bank | Ravenna, donated $500 to Little Jays Playgroup daycare in Ravenna. The funds awarded as part of the FHLB Topeka's #500forGood program.

Retirements

Cyndy Beune, First Community Bank | Beemer, will retire at the end of the year after 45 years with the bank. She most recently served as vice president and in the loan operations department. (pictured)

Steve Cleveland, Homestead Bank | Chadron, will retire at the end of the year after a 38-year career in banking. He started at First National Bank of Chadron in 1985; the bank later merged with Homestead Bank in 2021. (pictured)

Terry Domeier, York State Bank | York, retired after a 47-year career in banking, with 37 of those years at York State Bank.

Janice Schleif, Home Federal Bank | Grand Island, retired after 19 years with the bank.

Laurie Soll, First Community Bank | Bancroft, will retire at the end of 2023. Her 40-year career in banking began at Citizens Bank, which was later acquired by First Community Bank.
