Cornhusker Bank | Lincoln, hosted its 13th annual "Day Without Shoes" campaign by collecting shoes for impoverished and homeless people. The bank partnered with People's City Mission for a shoeless walk along O Street in Lincoln on April 5.

Platte Valley Bank | Scottsbluff, provided a $500 cash prize each to three raffle winners as part of the 2022-23 Campaign Raffle for Cash drawing from the local United Way.

Waypoint Bank | Eustis, hosted an Easter egg hunt on April 8 for children age 10 and under.

Deaths

William Smith (age 89) | Scottsdale, AZ, passed away on March 20. Prior to moving to Arizona, he worked at Continental National Bank (now U.S. Bank) in Lincoln as vice president, executive vice president and then president. He also served on the board of directors for FirsTier Bank in Lincoln and Omaha, as well as Cornerstone Bank in York.
