Post a Job

The NBA is pleased to host an online job board for banking careers.​ The job board is part of an ongoing effort to retain and attract the best and brightest to the Nebraska banking industry. It is a free, easy way for NBA members and associate members to advertise their job openings.
Job posting and troubleshooting tips can be found below.
To post a job, log in with your existing NBA website credentials. Please do not create a new account if prompted. If you need assistance accessing your log-in information, you can find that here or email nbacommunications@nebankers.org.

The job board includes:
  • An updated interface.
  • Members can now create and manage job posts on their own.
  • Employers can accept applications through the job board or direct applicants to apply via another website.
  • Prospective employees can share their information with employers in the resume bank.

Items to Note While Posting Jobs

  • In order for your job(s) to be searchable by location, you must select an option from the "City" drop-down menu when prompted. There is text below that box instructing you to do so. (see the yellow rectangle in image to the right)
    • If you do not select a city from the drop-down menu, your job post will not be shown in searches by location.
  • While it's not essential to upload your company logo, having an image with your job post makes it more noticeable.
    • If you do not upload a logo during your initial post, you can still add one later. Simply click the "Manage Listing" link in your confirmation email and scroll until you find the "Upload Employer Logo" button.
  • If you fill a job that's posted on our board and need to remove it, you can! Simply go to the "Manage" tab at the top of the page and click on "Manage Posts." From there, you can select "Published" and change it to "Unpublished" to take down your job listing.

Select one of the city options from the drop-down menu to ensure that your job post(s) will be included in searches sorted by location.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • If you receive an error message saying "you don't have permission to post a job," it may be because you created a new account specific to the job board and are logged in with that account.
    • This error means that the system does not recognize you in our database. All profiles with job posting access are in our database.
    • If you did create a specific job board account and already have a profile in our database, simply click on "Manage" and then connect the accounts by searching for the Nebraska Bankers Association when prompted.
    • If you created a job board account but do not currently have a profile in our database, we can create a profile for you. Once a profile is created, then you can connect the two accounts as explained above. You must have a profile in our database in order to have access to post jobs on the board.
  • If you did not create a job board-specific account but would like to have access to post jobs to our board, please make sure you are with an NBA member bank or associate member. The NBA job board is open only to NBA members and associate members.
    • You must use your existing website login information to access the job board. Please do not create an account specific to the job board page. If you need assistance with finding your login credentials, you can do so here.

BankTalentHQ

​​​As part of our ongoing workforce development efforts, the NBA joined 35 bank associations in partnering with the talent management website BankTalentHQ.
 
Banks can post new job openings on BankTalentHQ and reach a nationwide talent pool. Jobs posted on the site are automatically distributed to other job boards including to Circa's network of community-based organizations and diversity websites.
 
Job seekers can browse job listings, learn about careers in the banking industry and upload their resumes.
