Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy
The Nebraska Bankers Association (“NBA”), pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (the “Act”), will respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that are reported to the NBA’s designated copyright agent identified below. As part of the NBA response, the NBA may remove or disable access to material residing on a site that is controlled or operated by the NBA that is claimed to be infringing, in which case the NBA will make a good-faith attempt to contact the person who submitted the affected material so that they may make a counter notification, in accordance with the Act.

If your content has been taken down as a result of a notification by a purported copyright owner that such party’s rights of copyright are infringed by your content, you may respond by sending the NBA a counter notification pursuant to the Act by written notification. This can be done either by email or written letter including the following information:

- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of copyrighted work that is allegedly infringed.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed and a statement of ownership to such copyrighted work.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit the NBA to locate the material.
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit the NBA to contact you, including name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- If available, provide information sufficient to allow the NBA to notify the owner of the allegedly infringing content.
- Include both of the following statements:
- I have a good faith belief that use of copyrighted material described above as allegedly infringing is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Under penalty of perjury, the information in the notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Counter Notification
If your content has been taken down as a result of a notification by a purported copyright owner that such party’s rights of copyright are infringed by your content, you may respond by sending the NBA a counter notification pursuant to the Act by written notification. This can be done either by email or written letter including the following information:
- List the material that was removed or disabled by the NBA and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit the NBA to contact you, including name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- Include the following statement:
- Under penalty of perjury, I have a good faith belief that the material identified above was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled, or that the material identified by the complaining party has been removed or disabled and will no longer be shown.
- Physical or electronic signature.
