Cattle Bank & Trust | Seward, celebrated its 150th anniversary of service to communities in Nebraska; the bank was chartered in 1873, making it the second oldest bank charter in the state.

Midwest Bank | Pierce, has offered to match up to $10,000 in donations toward the Chilvers Park 2.0 project. The project includes a splash pad, basketball court upgrades and new pickleball courts.

Deborah Holtz (age 70) | Bloomfield, passed away on Jan. 3. She worked at First National Bank of Omaha in Bloomfield for 15 years, retiring in Dec. 2022. (pictured)

John Klosterman (age 86) | David City, passed away on Jan. 7. He was president and chairman of the board for First National Bank of Omaha in David City and director of FirsTier Bank in Lincoln. John also served in the U.S. Navy from 1958 until his honorable discharge in 1969.

Dawne Smith (age 72) | Alliance, passed away on Jan. 5. She worked at Alliance National Bank, now First National Bank of Omaha, and Bank of the West until she retired.
