The NBA is now accepting nominations for the second annual Alice Dittman Trailblazer Award for Women in Banking. This award honors women under 45 who work at NBA-member banks and are making a meaningful difference in their institutions and communities through leadership and service.
Nominees will be evaluated based on their impact on their bank, their commitment to community leadership, and their service to the banking industry and the NBA. The award is named in honor of Alice Dittman, a pioneer in Nebraska banking. Dittman began her career at Cornhusker Bank in 1948 and went on to serve as president, CEO and chair of the board. She was the first woman to chair the NBA and the Lincoln and Nebraska Chambers of Commerce, and she inspired generations through her mentorship and leadership. The 2025 award will be presented at the Women in Banking Conference in October. Nominations are due by Sept. 1. Learn More Comments are closed.
