Nebraska Wildfires
As of March 18, 2026, four wildfires (Morrill, Cottonwood, Anderson Bridge and Road 203) have destroyed over 827,000 acres across Nebraska, according to USA TODAY's data. Banks Back First Responders Fund To assist in relieving the burden placed on first responders and fire departments, the Nebraska Bankers Association has established the Banks Back First Responders fund. The NBA will work with the Nebraska State Volunteer Firefighters Association (NSVFA) to ensure dollars raised provide a wide range of assistance to organizations in need. Financial Contributions

NBA Foundation Background
Formed in 1990, the Nebraska Bankers Association Foundation (NBAF) is a key philanthropic arm of the NBA. Originally founded to provide scholarships and higher education support, the NBAF has expanded to include other priorities such as human trafficking prevention, financial literacy education and promotion, the NBA robbery reward fund, the Trailblazer Award for women in banking, natural disaster recovery efforts and next generation banker engagement.
