Deaths

William “Bill” Cook, Jr. (age 89) | Beatrice, passed away on Aug. 30. His career in banking spanned over 40 years, including roles as head teller, bank president, CEO and chairman of the board until his retirement in 2002. Bill was the NBA Chair from 1981-1982 and served in various leadership and advisory council roles with the American Bankers Association. He was also a U.S. Army veteran.
