First Interstate Bank | all branches, awarded a paid, 10-week Smithsonian internship to a total of 10 students across the bank’s 10-state footprint. Interns will be hosted in Washington, D.C. and placed across a range of the Smithsonian’s museums, research centers, offices or the National Zoo.
 
FNBO | Omaha, and other local businesses helped sponsor the Midlands Business Journal’s 50th anniversary jubilee gala last week at the Durham Museum. Additionally, the bank donated $150,000 to four organizations in western Nebraska to support wildfire relief efforts.
 
Nebraska Bank | Falls City, hosted an open house on April 29, during which the bank donated $500 each to 10 local organizations.
 
South Central State Bank | all branches, awarded a total of $4,500 in scholarships to eight local high school seniors.
