Matt Lawler, F&M Bank | South Sioux City, celebrated his 30th anniversary with the bank. He is a financial advisor.

Ralph Palmer, Security National Bank of Omaha | Omaha, celebrated 30 years with the bank. He is a senior vice president, mortgage loan originator.

Commercial State Bank | Nebraska City, donated $5,000 to the EDGE Foundation in commemoration of the bank’s 100th anniversary of service to the community. EDGE aims to help kids and families discover the power of literacy, grow the hopes and dreams of the community and create opportunities for them to be successful.

First State Bank | Alma, hosted a meal and silent auction benefit event on June 1 as a fundraiser for a bank employee’s spouse who is currently fighting stage four cancer.

First State Bank | Randolph, celebrated its 90th anniversary of service to the community at the end of May. The bank held an open house on May 29 to celebrate.

Platte Valley Bank | Bridgeport, sponsored a Beef Cook-Off on May 31 in Bridgeport. The event included live entertainment, in addition to the food.

Scribner Bank | Scribner, and other local businesses are sponsoring the Scribner Public Library’s summer reading program, which runs from June 2 to July 28.

Thayer County Bank | Hebron, and other local businesses sponsored a new mural highlighting the history of Hebron’s suffrage pioneers. The mural is located in the Hebron Suffrage Legacy of Courage Park next to Hebron Secrest Library and was dedicated during a Memorial Day service.

United Republic Bank | Gretna, opened a new branch at 12751 S 216th Plaza in Gretna at the end of May. The bank held a grand-opening celebration on May 31, featuring food, games and prizes.
