Adams Bank & Trust | Chappell, donated $5,000 to the Chappell Community Fund to help add a shade structure to the planned new splash pad in town.

Cattle Bank & Trust and Jones Bank | Seward, and other local businesses helped sponsor the Seward County Kennel Club AKC Sanctioned All-Breed Dog Show, Obedience and Rally trials on May 3-4.

NebraskaLand Bank | North Platte, and other local businesses helped sponsor Music on the Bricks 11, a twice-a-summer music festival in downtown North Platte. The first shows were May 16-17, and the next shows will be Aug. 8-9. Additionally, the bank hosted a free community shred day on May 19, with a free-will donation supporting the Lincoln County law enforcement memorial at Iron Horse Park.

Deaths

Patricia Ksiazek (age 76) | Clarks, passed away on May 6. She worked at the Bank of Clarks from 1980 until her retirement in 2015 and continued to serve on the bank’s board of directors after her retirement.
