Sonja Bruhn, Security First Bank | Chadron, celebrated 10 years with the bank. She is a mortgage loan processor.

Angie Klemmensen, Siouxland Bank | South Sioux City, celebrated her 30th work anniversary with the bank. She is an executive vice president.

Rod Reisen, i3 Bank | Ashland, celebrated his 25th anniversary with the bank. 

Tiffany Swanson, Security First Bank | Valentine, celebrated 20 years with the bank. She is a deposit operations specialist.

Banks in the News

Butte State Bank | Butte, and Nebraska Bank | Spencer, and other local businesses helped sponsor the Spencer Community Economic Development’s Ladies Night Out Quarter Auction. Proceeds from the event will be used for Spencer community projects, including workforce housing projects.

First State Bank | Randolph, sponsored a barbeque on July 13 during the Randolph Community Fair. The bank also sponsored a pool party on July 25 for their Kids Club members.

Retirements

Dee Ann Sanne, Cornerstone Bank | Clearwater, retired after 32 years in the banking industry, including four years with Cornerstone Bank. The bank will hold an open house on Aug. 1 to celebrate.

Deaths

Robert Walgren (age 90) | Columbus, passed away on July 24. He had previously worked as a vice president at First Nebraska Bank in Columbus for 17 years before his retirement in 2013.
