Senator Mike Jacobson, NebraskaLand Bank | North Platte, received the 2025 Outstanding Alumni Award from the Department of Agricultural Economics at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln at a banquet on Feb. 27. He represents District 42 in the Nebraska Unicameral and is an NBA Past Chair.

Citizens State Bank and Security Bank | Laurel, presented “Budgeting 101” and “Banking 101,” respectively, during Laurel-Concord-Coleridge High School’s Bear Day on Feb. 26. The event was designed to immerse students in hands-on learning experiences and featured a wide variety of businesses.

Generations Bank | Exeter, donated $500 to the Exeter-Milligan-Friend FFA program to help support the students’ upcoming “Ag in Italy” trip, where 29 FFA members will travel to northern Italy to study sustainable farming.

Michele Blue (age 54) | Brady, passed away on Feb. 25. She had previously worked for Western Nebraska Bank in North Platte.
