Mandy Hoover, Adams Bank & Trust | Ogallala, received the Keith County Chamber of Commerce Business Professional of the Year Award for her involvement in and impact on the community. She is the chief financial officer.

Adams Bank & Trust | Ogallala, received the Keith County Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Award for its generosity to the community through donations and support of events and nonprofits.

Banner Capital Bank | Alma, and other local businesses helped sponsor the UNL Extension Cow Clinic on Dec. 4 in Alma.

Commercial State Bank | Wausa, donated a total of $1,800 raised by bank staff to five local organizations: Wausa Library Foundation, Payne’s Pacas, Northeast Nebraska Suicide Foundation (in memory of Trevor Erickson), Briggs & Barret Project and the Animal Shelter of Northeast Nebraska.

First Community Bank | Beemer, hosted its 24th annual Tree of Love event with the Colonial Haven small nursing facility in Beemer. Bank employees and community members choose a resident’s name from the tree and provide Christmas gifts. Bank staff and their families handed out gifts and sang Christmas carols.

First Nebraska Bank | Elkhorn, hosted an American Red Cross blood drive on Dec. 13.

Union Bank & Trust Co. | Lincoln, received the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce’s Entrepreneurial Spirit Award.
