Jerry Catlett, Bruning Bank | Bruning, received the 2026 UNK College of Business and Technology Distinguished Alumnus Award. He will be honored during a luncheon at UNK on Oct. 2. He is the president and chief operating officer of the bank and served as NBA Chair from 2016-2017.
 
Tanner Woita, Jones Bank | Valparaiso, was selected for the Nebraska LEAD Class 45, which begins next month. He is an insurance agent with the bank.

Cornerstone Bank | Sutton, hosted a fraud prevention seminar on Aug. 12, covering how to recognize scams, avoid identity theft and protect yourself from fraud. Kathy Jensen, a BSA/AML/OFAC officer with the bank, presented the seminar.
 
Riverstone Bank | Scottsbluff, sponsored the Penny in the Park fundraiser for Community Christian School on Aug. 6. The event included a cake walk, skee ball, duck pond, drink vendors and more.
