Bank of the Valley and Columbus Bank & Trust Co. | Columbus, and other local businesses helped sponsor the veterans golf outing on Aug. 22 at the Elks Lodge 1195 Country Club in Columbus.

FNBO | Scottsbluff, donated $30,000 to the Scottsbluff/Gering Habitat for Humanity as part of the bank’s Impact Grant program.

Midwest Bank | Pilger, provided root beer floats during Pilger’s annual sweetcorn and hamburger feed and collected free-will donations. The $1,504.59 raised through the floats, along with other funds from the event, will go toward the Pilger Pool Fund.

Security First Bank and Western Nebraska Bank | Thedford, and other local businesses helped sponsor the Thedford Art Guild’s annual competitive art show. The show is a major fundraiser for the Thedford Gallery.

Waypoint Bank | Clay Center, donated $25,000 to the Fox Hollow Golf Course in Sutton.
