Deaths

James “Jim” Nissen (age 94) | Lincoln, passed away on Aug. 8. Jim served as NBA Chair in 1989. His banking career spanned six decades, including serving as president and CEO of the National Bank of Commerce and Vistar Bank. He also worked at Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. and served as a member of the board of directors for State Nebraska Bank & Trust in Wayne. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army (1954-1962), where he served as a finance and accounting officer and achieved the rank of Captain. (pictured)
