The project began several years ago as a way to remove Farm Credit calendars from the Dawson County Courthouse. The organizations that received donations include: the North Platte Trails Network ($3,451.71); Paws-itive Partners ($3,099.58); the Rape and Domestic Abuse Program ($2,948.40); and the North Platte Area Children's Museum ($1,443.86). This year, employees contributed a total of $18,609 across all the bank's branches. Union Bank & Trust Co. | Lincoln, presented a donation of $2,500 to the Nebraska State Patrol Foundation on Feb. 17 to help support the Service Dog Fund. She is a vice president, business development manager at the bank. Friendship Home works to support, shelter and advocate for survivors of domestic violence and their children. Omaha Bridges is a program that teaches individuals how to break the cycle of poverty. Giltner State Bank | Giltner, celebrated its 10th anniversary with an open house on Jan. 23. The branch, which opened on Jan. 22, 2023, is a division of Henderson State Bank. Horizon Bank | Waverly, recently donated $12,500 to Waverly's Foundation for Education Viking support fund to help support families in the local school district. The bank also donated $1,500 to Ava's Army Sugarplum Ball, an event that donates 100% of its funds to help research pediatric leukemia.
