Welcome to the Nebraska Bankers Association (NBA) Web site.  The NBA does not collect personal identifying information about you when you visit www.nebankers.org, unless you choose to provide this information to us. Our Web site is housed on a server maintained by Nebrask@ Online. Nebrask@ Online does collect certain information automatically. Some of this information is made available to us.

If you visit our site to read or download information, such as consumer brochures or press releases, the following information is collected automatically by the Web server:

  • The name of the domain (for example, "aol.com" if you are connecting from an America Online account or "unl.edu" if you are connecting from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s domain).

  • The Internet protocol (IP) address from which you accessed the Internet. (IP is the protocol that is used to route a data packet from its source to its destination over the Internet. An IP address is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you are surfing the Internet.)

  • The date and time you accessed our site.

  • The pages of our site visited by you.

Nebrask@ Online uses software to analyze the information it collects via its Web server and generates a report for us. We use the information to measure the number of visitors to the different sections of our site, and to help us make our site more useful to visitors. We do not track or record information about individuals and their visits. Nebrask@ Online does not resell or provide the information it collects to anyone except its oversight board and the Nebraska Bankers Association.

You may choose to provide us with personal information by sending us an e-mail message or by completing and submitting a form through our Web site.

We use this information only to respond to your message and to help us provide you with the information, product, or service you have requested. We do not share our e-mail with any entities outside of NBA affiliates, subsidiaries, or agents unless we receive a subpoena or formal administrative order from an entity conducting a civil or criminal law enforcement investigation.

Our Web site has links to a variety of state and federal agencies as well as private businesses and organizations. When you link to another site, you are no longer on the NBA site and are subject to the privacy policy of the new site.

We want to be very clear:  We will not obtain personally identifying information about you when you visit our site, unless you choose to provide such information to us.
