Celebrate Arbor Day, April 26, 2013

Over the past 23 years, Nebraska bankers have provided nearly 150,000 trees to beautify their communities through participation in the NBA’s Planting Roots for the Future tree planting program.  We again encourage you to help promote this worthwhile environmental effort.  This year, Arbor Day will celebrate 141 years of successful tree planting and environmental stewardship.  Please help us celebrate this Nebraska tradition by ordering Norway Spruce seedlings to give to your customers, schools, community organizations, or those wishing to give their green thumbs a try.  These specially packaged seedlings are priced at $1.49 each plus sales tax and are available in lots of 25.  We ask that you order at least 50 trees. 

The NBA also offers brochures, stickers, posters, and plantable "economic notes" - a new offering for 2013.  To participate, please return the ORDER FORM or ORDER ONLINE by Friday, FEB. 22, 2013.  Brochure, sticker, poster, and plantable note orders will be filled by the NBA in March.  The trees will be shipped to your bank the week of April 22.
