Celebrate Arbor Day, April 27, 2012

Over the past 22 years, Nebraska bankers have provided nearly 149,000 trees to beautify their communities through participation in the NBA’s Planting Roots for the Future tree planting program.  We again encourage you to help promote this worthwhile environmental effort.  This year, Arbor Day will celebrate 140 years of successful tree planting and environmental stewardship.  Please help us celebrate this Nebraska tradition by ordering Norway Spruce seedlings to give to your customers, schools, community organizations, or those wishing to give their green thumbs a try.  These specially packaged seedlings are priced at $1.49 each plus sales tax and are available in lots of 25.  We ask that you order at least 50 trees. 

The NBA also offers brochures, stickers, and posters.  To participate, please return the ORDER FORM or ORDER ONLINE by Friday, FEB. 24, 2012.  Brochure, sticker, and poster orders will be filled by the NBA in March.  The trees will be shipped to your bank from Richter, Ryman & Co. the week of April 23.
